After ten years of practicing massage therapy, along with more life trauma than you could shake a stick at, my body was protesting madly. Health issues like fibromyalgia and bipolar disorder plagued me daily, tormenting me with pain, stiffness, digestive issues, deep depression and apathy. My body was a wreck in the top photo. We all think that "once we lose the weight" life will be better. It was in some ways but not all ways. Every time I got on the Block, I cried. Three months later, I was crying less, my pain was less, and my photo tells you how great I looked.
Four years later and most of my fibro pain is gone. I can regulate my emotions without medication. My body moves and feels better than it did when I was in my 20's. I'm 52 and more flexible than I was at sixteen. My digestive health is enormously better.

As of January 11, 2021, my husband and I embarked on prostate cancer journey number two. We reversed it the first time with diet, following the ketogenic diet in 2017. Thus, the great weight loss in the above photo! This time, we used Block Therapy and Fluid Isometrics (fascial releases by hand) to relieve the symptoms. And no shock or surprise, his cancer is gone. Again. He continues to manage any symptoms of prostate issues with regular Blocking.
It's almost impossible to comprehend that laying on a piece of wood and breathing properly from the diaphragm could make such a huge impact on the human body. If I had not spent the last 3+ years on the Block, becoming an Instructor and now a Block Therapist, I would never have believed it either.
As an aside, I didn't believe it at first. And to say I hated Block Therapy might be stating things kindly.
Now? Now I believe that every body should be on the Block. Now, even if I leave home for one night, my Blocks come with me. I even took them to Mexico!
